Course Content

Before we start this course, we will first look at what is covered during the training. The course is divided into categories and within each category, you will find several videos. You can pause and watch again any of the videos in the course. We update our courses regularly and you will be able to see any replacements and also any new videos as they are released. This may be an online course, but if you have any questions during the course, you can contact us by phone, email, or use our online chat facility on any of our websites. You will work through the course videos in order and now we will give you an overview of what's contained in the course. In the first section, we will look at the fears of first aid, scene safety, DRAB and the ABCDs, how to use face shields, initial assessment, recovery position and ID tags and bracelets.

Cardiac arrest and CPR is also included in the cycle first aid course. This covers CPR for both adults and children, drowning, compression-only CPR, AED use, resuscitation of children and improving compressions and breaths. Heart attack and stroke are also covered within this course, along with adult and child choking. Bleeding control is another category included this cycle first aid course, demonstrating how to treat embedded objects and how to deal with serious external bleeding. The final category within this course will inform you of such subjects as allergic reactions, diabetes, asthma, epilepsy. And finally, bites and stings.
